About me

I come from a line of artists and musicians and grateful to represent my family's Hispanic lineage.

 The wild nature of a Texas beach, a humid hill country garden, petrified sand and rugged  NM high desert with unbelievable sun allows me to combine this unique, daily bouquet with nods to impressionism and abstract.  

 

Years ago, my husband literally dropped me off at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Texas.  Other artists had portfolios and large transport envelopes while I stood mortified in line with my one piece in an ornate gilded frame.

I am forever grateful that he did.
